Dose of Insanity

Time flies, doesn’t it? It feels like it was just a few weeks ago that I was sitting down to pen the first few strips of Dose of Insanity before taking a nosedive back into Lakewood!

We’ve certainly had a whirlwind of events the past several months. With widespread illness, social and economic unrest, I have appreciated the kind words and messages from everyone as I continue to produce my comic for all of you. Thank you for the encouragement, the thanks, and most of all, thank you for taking the time to enjoy the silly stories that I like to draw for myself as well as for all of you.

Dose of Insanity’s Issue 2, “Aliens Among Us!” is now complete! There are a few items forthcoming… first and foremost, I am wrapping up the cover art for Issues 1 and 2. They’re coming, so stay tuned! After their initial posts, I’ll likely move them to their proper places in the post order (so they appear when you binge before each respective issue).

Issue 3 will begin in July. The current plan is to begin Monday, July 6th.

During the break, I plan to post some answers to reader questions and other bonus content! Have a question you’d like to have answered? Tweet @droakir with your question and the hashtag #DoseOfInsanityQuestions and either I or one of my characters will respond.

Or… just submit your question directly by filling out this Google Form. Feel free to submit as many questions as you like, but please note that I cannot answer all of them (even though I’d like to).

Guest Comics and Fan Art Wanted!

Are you an artist? Originally I was going to run a formal Guest Comic event in June. Those plans kind of got tossed out the window with current events, but I would love to toss in some Guest Comics if any of you would like to submit one!

If you’d like to submit a Guest Comic or Fan Art during the break, feel free to message me! I can be contacted on most social media at my handle @droakir.

Please note that Guest Comics and Fan Art need to follow a few guidelines…

1. Keep it PG. This is an all-ages, family-friendly strip.
2. No Profanity. See #1 above.

Submitting art does not guarantee I will be able to post it (I will try… the obvious cases for exclusion being violations of rules #1 and #2 above), but I appreciate any and all art that you send to me! Thank you!

Anyways, it’s been a pleasure writing and drawing for all of you. Thank you for reading, and I can’t wait to share more comics with you all in the future!
